Also in Pittsboro, the Carolina Brewery and City Tap serve libations along with music to soothe and inspire the soul.
Southern Village is seven miles away, with a movie theater and a Weaver Street Market as well as gelato and frozen yogurt and several good restaurants. And if you like Farmer’s Markets you will find yourself in heaven, with a nearby farmer’s market nearly every day of the week (including one right in Fearrington Village!!).
Fearrington brings you closer to some of the finest medical care in the country. A branch of UNC Health Care is less than five miles away, and a new hospital is slated for construction in Pittsboro beginning in 2014. The Duke Center for Living in Galloway Ridge specializes in medically-based wellness programs as well as general fitness and includes a heated pool and indoor track. O2 Fitness, a more typical fitness club, is less than seven miles away.
